I found myself FURIOUS at the lack of regulations and standardized education in aesthetics.
I made the decision to open my own clinic and set myself apart.
I began using my frustrations to be a part of the change, shifting from solely being a provider to being a clinical speaker.
I launched my educational program, focusing on bringing a fresh perspective and new depth to aesthetic education.
My journey as an educator came mostly from burnout-- I was burnt out from seeing one and two day courses promising to make you a "Master Injector", companies feeding new providers with information not based on science or evidence whatesoever, a lack of standardized education across the board, and seeing provider after provider claiming to be a "Skin Expert" with no knowledge of skin or experience in dermatology.
It all started out with my heart telling me that I wanted to be the change.
When you train with me, I'm giving you my knowledge and education gained over 13 years of experience. This means all the conferences and all the hands-on trainings I paid for out of pocket over all of those years, all the years of working in dermatology and plastic surgery, and all the research is all wrapped up and handed to you.
Here's the truth of the matter: anyone can be a trainer. Whether someone has had two years of experience or twenty, you never know what you're paying for until it is all said and done. However, just as I believe in transparency in my clinic, I also believe in transparency for my fellow providers.
As a clinical educator and speaker for the leading aesthetic conferences in aesthetic medicine, I know firsthand how important it is to ensure that all data being given is accurate and based in science. That's why my approach to teaching is no different.
Education is something I take seriously and I want to be a positive change in this specialty of medicine, igniting others to practice to their highest level.

Because I had the unique privilege of my entire career being focused in both dermatology and plastic surgery, my perspective of treating my aesthetic medicine patients is rooted in the skin, which is where my educational program begins and is a gap I commonly see.
